Your day begins at 9 am, where you will be picked up by our private van driver for an interesting road trip to Creel. Upon arriving Creel, you will enjoy a tour of the town with interesting stops at majestic places like Arareko Lake, Mushroom Valley, The Mission, Tarahumara Caves, and other interesting sites.

Creel is the shopping center and trading center for the region, offering everything from handmade musical instruments to pottery and jewelry. Creel is also the tourism center of the region, with optional trips to the famous Cusarare waterfall, Basihuare Canyon, The Mission, La Bufa Canyon, Recohuata Thermal Springs, and the highly recommended two-day extension to Batopilas - a thrilling journey to the bottom of the canyon.

We highly recommend the two-day extension to Batopilas - a thrilling journey to the bottom of the canyon. Click here for information about the Batopilas Extension.

Enjoy Breakfast and Lunch at the hotel before you re-board the ChePe train for a short but extremely scenic train ride to Bahuichivo, the jumping off spot for passengers heading to Cerocahui - the most beautiful mountain village in the state. Upon arrival at the Bahuichivo train depot you will be transferred the 45 minute journey to the charming town of Cerocahui, and the amazing Hotel Mision. With the rooms nestled amongst the vineyard, and a sparkling little pool beckoning you for a dip. We suggest that you relax, unwind and enjoy.

Cerocahui
After breakfast, you can take a breathtaking bus tour of the region. After lunch, you are free to explore the area on your own or participate in one of the many exciting activities offered by the hotel at a modest fee.
