Train Information


Passenger Info
All trains depart from and return to the Mt.Hood Railroad depot in Hood River. Paid parking facilities are available at the depot. All seats are pre-assigned and seat numbers are indicated on boarding passes. Passengers are welcome to move through the train except where otherwise posted. Children must be accompanied by an adult when moving through the train. Return times may vary.

Reservations
Reservations are recommended as many trains sell out. Prepaid reservations are necessary for the Dinner Train, Brunch Train and Special Event Excursion Trains. Please note you must request to be seated with another party. Being booths on the Dinner and Brunch trains accommodate four people, parties of two or less may be combined when necessary.

Parking
Paid parking is available at the depot at rate of $5 per car, $6 per RV and $7 per bus.

On-board Information
The train offers light concessions and beverages for purchase onboard the train. Cars are heated though not all are air-conditioned due to their historic nature. The Dinner and Brunch Trains are comprised of air-conditioned and heated cars. All trains are equipped with restroom facilities. Only animals that assist the physically challenged are allowed onboard the trains. Smoking is not allowed on the trains.
